Going on the recommendations of several friends, Mr. Grubbs and I have started watching Showtime's original series Dexter. We are almost done with the first season and we were instantly hooked. The show follows Dexter, a forensic detective in Miami who specializes in blood spatters. The hitch is that he himself is a serial killer. But don't hate him, he only kills bad people. He first has to make sure that the person is indeed evil, then he stalks them, kills them, and finishes with a burial- often in pieces- at sea. It is very dark, but I actually feel for the crazy guy. Definitely Netflix worthy- only because we don't have Showtime.
